Abstract: The handset is connected to a cord that can be unreeled and reeled in, and can be set in a cradle and taken out of the cradle, the handset comprising an acceleration sensor, a display unit, and a controller. The acceleration sensor detects movement of the handset in a first direction, which is a direction in which the handset is taken out of the cradle, and/or a second direction, which is a direction in which the handset is set in the cradle. The controller controls operation of the display unit, and disables the operation of the display unit while the acceleration sensor is detecting movement of the handset in the first direction or the second direction.

Abstract: A wireless communication system includes wireless communication devices capable of performing wireless communication with a wireless communication terminal and each disposed at a different position. The wireless communication devices include: a storage device configured to hold radio wave intensity data corresponding to position information of each of the wireless communication devices; and a processing device configured to, when starting communication with the wireless communication terminal, calculate a region in which interference of radio waves is able to occur based on the radio wave intensity data, calculate a usage status of a communication resource by the wireless communication devices present in the region based on a communication status of the wireless communication devices present in the region among the wireless communication devices, and adjust a communication parameter that defines a transmission amount of data in communication with the wireless communication terminal based on a calculation result of the usage status.

The detecting unit detects an acceleration of a display device attached, so as to be capable of tilting, to a rear surface of a reclining seat. The image capturing unit captures an image from the display device. The control unit determines a reclining state of the reclining seat on the basis of the captured image and the detected acceleration.
