Abstract: A display apparatus includes: a display including a display surface on which an image is displayed; and a decorative layer that is arranged on the display surface side of the display and includes a base layer and a design layer each formed to cover the display surface. The base layer includes a light diffusing material. A plurality of microholes are formed through the base layer. The design layer is formed to cover the plurality of microholes and a non-opening portion of the base layer.

Abstract: A display device includes: a mirror body; a display component; and a mirror component disposed between the mirror body and the display component and switchable between a transmitting state in which external light and picture light are transmitted and a reflecting state in which the external light passing through the mirror body is reflected. The mirror body includes: a substrate transparent to light; an absorptive polarizer covering a first region not including the mirror component or the display component and a second region including the mirror component and the display component in plan view; and a reflective polarizer disposed on a rear face of the substrate and including an opening in the second region. The mirror component includes: a liquid crystal layer capable of changing a polarization direction of the external light; and a reflective polarizer disposed on a side of the liquid crystal layer adjacent to the display component.
