Abstract: An answering system includes a first obtainer, an input receiver, a second obtainer, a processor, and a presenter. The first obtainer obtains registered user information and registered product information on the registered user information. The input receiver receives an input related to a question from a questioning user. The second obtainer obtains questioning user information on the questioning user. The processor generates a candidate answer regarding the registered product information in response to the input related to the question, when registered user information that matches the questioning user information obtained by the second obtainer is present. The presenter presents the candidate answer generated by the processor.
