Abstract: A display device installed in a vehicle includes a display, a reflectance control device, and a control circuit. The reflectance control device is capable of changing a reflectance for incident light. The control circuit controls the reflectance of the reflectance control device. The reflectance control device includes a first part and a second part. The first part is positioned in a first region overlapping the display surface when viewed in a normal direction being normal to the display surface. The second part is positioned in a second region surrounding the first region when viewed in the normal direction of the display surface. The control circuit controls a reflectance of the second part based on at least one of speed information indicating a speed of the vehicle and reverse information indicating whether the vehicle is reversing.

Abstract: The display device is mounted on a vehicle and includes a display, a reflectance control part, and a control circuit. The display includes a display surface on which a video is displayed, and is able to switch between on and off. The reflectance control part is positioned close to the display surface and is able to change a reflectance of incident light. The control circuit is configured to control a reflectance of the reflectance control part, the on and off of the display, and the video. The display surface is subjected to low reflection processing for reducing a reflectance of light.
