Abstract: An oral function evaluation method includes: obtaining voice data obtained by collecting a voice of an evaluatee uttering a syllable or a fixed phrase that includes (i) two or more morae including a change in a first formant frequency or a change in a second formant frequency or (ii) at least one of a flap, a plosive, a voiceless sound, a double consonant, or a fricative; extracting a prosody feature from the voice data obtained; calculating an estimated value of an oral function of the evaluatee, based on the prosody feature extracted and an oral function estimating equation calculated based on a plurality of training data items; and evaluating an oral function deterioration state of the evaluatee by assessing the estimated value using an oral function evaluation indicator.

Abstract: An estimation method includes: obtaining a first voice feature group of a plurality of persons who speak a first language; obtaining a second voice feature group of a plurality of persons who speak a second language; obtaining a voice feature of a subject; correcting the voice feature of the subject according to a relationship between the first voice feature group and the second voice feature group; estimating, from the voice feature of the subject that has been corrected, an oral function or a cognitive function of the subject by using an estimation process for an oral function or a cognitive function based on the second language; and outputting a result of estimation of the oral function or the cognitive function of the subject.

Abstract: An oral function visualization system includes: an outputter that outputs information for prompting a user to utter a predetermined voice; an obtainer that obtains an uttered voice of the user uttered in accordance with the output; an analyzer that analyzes the uttered voice obtained by the obtainer; and an estimator that estimates a state of oral organs of the user from a result of analysis of the uttered voice by the analyzer. The outputter outputs, based on the state of the oral organs of the user estimated by the estimator, information for the user to achieve a state of the oral organs suitable for utterance of the predetermined voice.
