To allow identifying or estimating a vehicle model of a vehicle even in a case where it is impossible to identify the vehicle model on the basis of a feature amount of at least a portion of a vehicle body of the vehicle, a vehicle model identification device (2) of the present disclosure includes a storage unit (14) that stores a first database in which a feature amount of at least a portion of a vehicle body of each of a plurality of vehicle models, for each of the vehicle models is stored, and a second database in which a feature amount of a component which is included in at least the portion of the vehicle body of each of the vehicle models is stored, and a processor (15) that performs a first vehicle model identification process of identify the vehicle model of the vehicle with reference to the first database on the basis of the feature amount of at least the portion of the vehicle body which is extracted from a captured image, and a second vehicle model identification process of identifying the vehicle model of the vehicle with reference to the second database on the basis of the feature amount of the component which is extracted from the captured image.

In collection of training data for image recognition, in order to support a reduction in collection of improper images which are not suitable as training data, a learning data collection device 3 includes a processor 51 which is configured to acquire a captured image from an image capturing device 2, determine whether or not the captured image is suitable as training data, and when the captured image is determined to be not suitable as training data, perform a notification operation to prompt an image capturing person to reshoot a new image for the captured image.

A vehicle model identification system includes an imaging device, a display device, a vehicle model identification device, and a bus that connects therebetween, and the vehicle model identification device includes an input device, a storage device, and a processor. A user performs a search with the input device, and the processor causes the display device to display a first vehicle image list, a vehicle image, and a reference image according to a first rule from the search condition. The user refers to the reference image, examines a feature of a target vehicle model, and specifies a partial region which is a feature. The processor acquires partial specification information of the specified partial region, searches for the target vehicle model based on a second rule, and displays a second vehicle image list and the vehicle image on the display device.

A person counting device is provided to count the number of persons passing through a counting area set in a monitoring area, and includes: a counting condition setter that sets a non-walkable area and the counting area; a traffic line acquirer that acquires a traffic line for each person; a passing-person counter that counts the number of persons passing through the counting area based on the traffic line; a traffic line determinator that determines whether or not the traffic line passes through the non-walkable area; a correction area selector that estimates the counting area existing on an avoidance route that does not pass through the non-walkable area based on the state of the traffic line, and selects the counting area as a correction target; and a passing-person counting corrector that corrects the number of passing persons with regard to the counting area selected as the correction target.
