Abstract: Disclosed are a music data analysis apparatus capable of analyzing and visualizing creation principles of music and a music data generation apparatus capable of using the creation principles. The music data generation apparatus may comprise: a memory; and a processor executing at least one instruction stored in the memory, wherein the processor is configured to perform: generating a seed overlap matrix so that the seed overlap matrix represents musical features of seed music data; and generating new music data based on the seed overlap matrix.
