Abstract: An object detection device is provided. The object detection device may include an input device for receiving an input image, an object detection model for generating a plurality of input images of different resolutions using the input image, a processor for acquiring a plurality of pyramid images of different resolutions using the plurality of input images, an important object image representing a preset important object in the input image based on the plurality of pyramid images, and an output device for outputting the important object image. A method is also disclosed.
