Abstract: Included are a fiducial frame adjustment unit (18) that displays a parameter used when an image of a fiducial frame and a high-resolution image are generated, updates display contents of the image of the fiducial frame based on adjustment of the displayed parameter, and stores the adjusted parameter as parameters for the fiducial frame and a reference frame in a fiducial point position holding memory (17A) and a blur PSF parameter holding memory (17B), and a reference frame adjustment unit (19) that displays a parameter for the reference frame when an image of a reference frame is displayed, updates display contents of the image of the reference frame based on adjustment of the displayed parameter, and stores the adjusted parameter as the parameter for the reference frame in the fiducial point position holding memory (17A) and the blur PSF parameter holding memory (17B).

Abstract: An image processing method is performed by a processor of an image processing apparatus which performs image processing of an input frame image. In the image processing method, a tonal histogram is generated, of which a gross area corresponds to a total number of pixels in the input frame image, and contrast is calculated from the tonal histogram. An input of a motion-detecting level with respect to the input frame image is received. A motion-detecting threshold corresponding to the motion-detecting level and the contrast is calculated. A composite image of the input frame image and a preceding frame image of the input frame image is generated based on a comparison result of a finite difference value between the input frame image and the preceding frame image, and the motion-detecting threshold.

Abstract: GUI of an image processing device according to the present invention is a control window which receives a change of an input parameter of spatial tone correction processing and receives an operation of changing five input parameters. In GUI, first input parameters such as a correction method, correction strength, a degree of color enhancement, brightness, and a correction range can be set. The correction method is selected through pull-down menu, and any one or a plurality of methods can be selected from four correction methods such as contrast enhancement, backlight correction, dark-portion correction, and bright-portion correction. The correction strength, degree of color enhancement, brightness, and correction range are designated through slide-bars of which values are respectively set by a user moving sliders within the window in a transverse direction. Value displays display designated values of the correction strength, the degree of color enhancement, the brightness, and the correction range.

Abstract: An image processing apparatus is provided which performs image processing of an input frame image. Contrast analyzer generates a histogram of the input frame image and calculates contrast based on the histogram. Motion-detecting threshold setter calculates a lower-limit threshold and an upper-limit threshold of a motion-detecting threshold by using an input-operated motion-detecting level and the calculated contrast. Motion detector determines that an observation pixel is moving considerably in a case where a finite difference value between frames is greater than the upper-limit threshold, and sets composite ratio K such that compositing of a preceding frame image is not performed. In a case where the finite difference value is smaller than the lower-limit threshold, the observation pixel is determined to be stationary, and composite ratio K is set such that compositing of the preceding frame image is performed at the maximum ratio.
