摘要： Transmitter elements to transmit a detection ray for object detection, to a transmission area, receiver elements to receive, from a reception area, the detection ray reflected by an object, and a transmission-side optical divider and a reception-side optical divider, disposed in front of the transmitter elements and the receiver elements, respectively, which includes optical dividing pieces having optical deflection surfaces on which a traveling direction angle of the detection ray is varied to angles so as to correspond to division areas, are provided. In the optical dividers, a ratio of an area of a second optical deflection surface that forms a division area that is closer to the sensor, relative to an area of a first optical deflection surface that forms a division area that is farther from the sensor, is set so as to be different between a transmission side and a reception side.

摘要： An active object detection sensor is provided which allows an installation worker to easily adjust a detection area, and further identify an optimum position of a guide mark in a touch detection area. The active object detection sensor used for opening/closing of automatic an opening/closing unit (3) includes: an object determination unit (52) that during an operation mode determines that an object is in a detection area (A) when a detection level of a detection beam received by a receiver (22) exceeds an operation threshold to output an object detection signal; and a detection level indication unit (43) that during an adjustment mode indicates the detection level of the detection beam received by the receiver (22).

摘要： An optical divider is disposed, in front of at least one of the transmitter and receiver elements, therebetween, and at least one of a transmission and reception side, and has a plurality of optical dividing pieces each having an optical deflection surface on which an angle of a detection ray is varied to a plurality of angles for dividing the detection ray toward a plurality of division areas. The optical deflection surface on at least one of the transmission and reception side is set to have a given angle, to assign at least one of the detection ray from the transmitter elements and toward the receiver elements, to a given division area, such that a combination of the transmitter and receiver elements forming one of the division areas is different from a combination of the transmitter and receiver elements forming another one of the division areas.
