Abstract: Devices, methods and computer programs for compensation of residual time-frequency error(s) in communications between a network node device and a client device are disclosed. A network node device determines an auxiliary reference signal indication comprising presence information and location information of an auxiliary reference signal in a physical downlink channel transmission. The network node device transmits to the client device the auxiliary reference signal associated with a physical downlink channel in accordance with the determined auxiliary reference signal indication. The client device uses the received auxiliary reference signal for the compensation of the residual time-frequency error(s) in the communications.
