In a method, a first apparatus receives, from a second apparatus, a master information block (MIB) message. At least one bit in the MIB message indicates at least one configuration associated with a plurality of repetitions of a PDCCH transmission. Based on the at least one configuration, the first apparatus monitors the plurality of repetitions of the PDCCH transmission from the second apparatus.
