    Abstract: A radio access network element includes at least one processor and at least one memory including computer program code. The at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the radio access network element to: generate a carrier aggregation configuration for a user equipment based on capability information from the user equipment, the capability information including at least supported maximum channel bandwidth information and supported minimum channel bandwidth information for each band within a band combination; and send the carrier aggregation configuration to the user equipment to configure the user equipment for communication with the radio access network element.

    Abstract: An apparatus including at least one processor and at least one memory storing instructions that when executed by the at least one processor cause the apparatus at least to perform receiving from a network node an indication of a second radio frequency carrier. The second radio frequency carrier is contained within a first radio frequency carrier over which the network node communicates. One or more out-of-band emission requirements for the apparatus are defined with respect to the first radio frequency carrier.     Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided for defining a configured maximum output power of a user equipment. In the context of a method, a configured maximum output power of the user equipment in a respective slot for a carrier of a serving cell is determined based on at least one boundary. The at least one boundary is determined based at least partly upon a scaling factor dependent upon a number of antenna ports having a non-zero transmission power on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH). The method also reports the determined configured maximum output power to a network node operating the serving cell, thereby allowing the network to control the conditions of the uplink transmission more accurately.
