摘要: A travel control method for a vehicle is provided, which includes autonomous steering control for autonomously controlling the steering of the vehicle. The travel control method includes: setting a plurality of cancellation thresholds corresponding to respective travel scenes, the cancellation thresholds being used for canceling the autonomous steering control and transitioning to the driver's manual operation; detecting a travel scene of the vehicle during execution of the autonomous steering control; extracting a cancellation threshold corresponding to the detected travel scene from among the plurality of set cancellation thresholds; and determining, based on the extracted cancellation threshold, whether or not to cancel the autonomous steering control and transition to the driver's manual operation.

摘要: A travel control method includes using the vehicle to autonomously control a travel of the vehicle. The vehicle has an autonomous speed control function for autonomously controlling a traveling speed of the vehicle and an autonomous steering control function for autonomously controlling the steering of the vehicle. The autonomous speed control function includes a curved route speed control function for controlling the traveling speed of the vehicle at a set speed corresponding to the size of a curve of a travel route. The curved route speed control function can be set to ON/OFF. Each of the autonomous speed control function and the autonomous steering control function can be set to ON/OFF. When the autonomous speed control function and the autonomous steering control function are set to ON, the curved route speed control function is operated regardless of whether the curved route speed control function is set to ON or OFF.

摘要: A driving assist method and a driving assist device is provided for controlling a transmission ratio of a continuously variable transmission, which steplessly shifts gears and outputs an engine rotation speed. The driving assist method and a driving assist device continuously performs downshifting until an upshift occurs, when the transmission ratio of the continuously variable transmission is controlled so that the engine rotational speed increases in conjunction with an increase in a vehicle speed and the upshift will be performed after the vehicle has accelerated.
