摘要： A media separation apparatus may include: a pickup roller disposed at one side of the loaded media, and configured to sequentially pick up and transfer the loaded media; a feed roller disposed separately from the pickup roller in a media feeding direction, and configured to feed the media picked up and transferred by the pickup roller toward a transfer path; and a media separator disposed at a position facing the feed roller, having a plurality of separation rollers and a separation belt wound around a part of the circumference of each of the separation rollers, and configured to separate a following medium from a leading medium through friction of the separation belt, the following medium being in close contact with the leading medium fed by the feed roller and transferred at the same time as the leading medium.

摘要： Disclosed herein is an apparatus for receiving cash and checks. The apparatus includes a bundle transfer unit, a semi-separation unit and a sheet-by-sheet separation. The bundle transfer unit transfers a bill bundle input into the apparatus. The bundle transfer unit is provided above and below the bill bundle and extends along a path for transferring the bill bundle. The semi-separation unit is installed behind a rear end of the bundle transfer unit. The semi-separation unit limits the number of bills to be transferred in such a way that only a preset number of bills separated from the bill bundle is allowed to pass through the semi-separation unit. The sheet-by-sheet separation unit is installed behind a rear end of the semi-separation unit. The sheet-by-sheet separation unit separates bills transferred from the semi-separation unit from each other sheet-by-sheet.

摘要： Provided herein may be a pick-up roller with a front-edge alignment element and a media separation apparatus using the pick-up roller. The pick-up roller may include a pick-up element configured to pick up and transfer a media sheet, and the front-edge alignment element provided at a position opposite to the pick-up element. During a process of picking up a stacked media sheet and transferring it into a space between a feed roller and a separation roller unit, the front-edge alignment element may align in advance a front edge of a media sheet disposed subsequent to the medial sheet that is being transferred, to a position of the entrance between the feed roller and the separation roller unit, and thereafter, the pick-up element may pick up the media sheet aligned by the front-edge alignment element and transfer it into the space between the feed roller and the separation roller unit.
