Abstract: A target detection method includes inputting a to-be-detected image into a backbone included in a target detection model to determine that an output of the backbone is a feature corresponding to the to-be-detected image and inputting the feature corresponding to the to-be-detected image into a prediction head included in the target detection model to determine that an output of the prediction head is target information included in the to-be-detected image. The target information included in the to-be-detected image includes at least one of position information, size information, orientation information, depth information, or blocking information of a target in the to-be-detected image. The target detection model is trained and obtained based on a sample image including a target sub-area and a non-target sub-area.
