摘要: A structure for preventing glass from breaking, having a combination of a surface glass breaking prevention material, a glass substrate and a metal plate arranged in the order, wherein an internal glass breaking prevention material made of an elastomer or viscoelastomer having a dynamic shear modulus of not larger than 1null109 Pa is interposed between the glass substrate and the metal plate. Particularly, in the glass breaking prevention structure configured as described above, destructive impact energy (B) by which the glass substrate is destroyed when a steel ball 50 mm in diameter and 500 g in weight is dropped on the surface glass breaking prevention material is not lower than 1.2 times as high as destructive impact energy (A) measured in the same manner upon a glass breaking prevention structure having the same configuration as the first-mentioned structure except that the internal glass breaking prevention material is not interposed.
