Abstract: A control device is provided for controlling a rotation speed of an electric oil pump, including a motor and a pump mechanism connected to the motor, based on a command value input from a host device. The control device includes: a first calculator calculating a first duty value of current to be output to the motor based on a deviation between the command value and a rotation speed of the motor; a second calculator calculating a second duty value of current to be output to the motor based on a deviation between a current limit value of the motor and a current value of the motor; and a drive current determiner comparing the first duty value calculated by the first calculator and the second duty value calculated by the second calculator, and selecting the lower duty value as a duty value of current that drives the motor.

Abstract: A control device to control a motor includes a stator including a coil, a rotor including a permanent magnet, a detector that detects a rotational position of the rotor at every predetermined angle and outputs a position signal indicating the detected rotational position, and a controller that receives the position signal output by the detector and adjusts a duty ratio of a driving signal of the rotor by a pulse width modulation scheme based on the received position signal to control rotation of the rotor. The controller raises the duty ratio from a first duty ratio, starting from a point in time at which the position signal is received, and returns the raised duty ratio to the first duty ratio when a next position signal has been received.

Abstract: A control device for a motor unit provided in a vehicle is disclosed. The motor unit includes a motor including multiple coils provided side by side around a motor axis; a transmission mechanism transmitting power of the motor to an axle; a housing housing the motor and the transmission mechanism; an electric oil pump delivering oil stored in the housing; and a coil temperature sensor detecting a temperature of the coil. The control device includes a motor controller driving and controlling the motor; and a pump controller driving and controlling the electric oil pump. The pump controller estimates an oil temperature according to an ambient temperature and the temperature of the coil, and determines a start timing of the electric oil pump based on an estimated oil temperature.

Abstract: One aspect of a motor control device according to the present invention is a motor control device that controls a motor of an electric pump. The motor control device includes a drive unit that supplies a drive current to the motor; a control unit that controls a rotation speed of the motor by controlling the drive unit based on a rotation speed command value; and a current detection unit that detects the drive current supplied to the motor, and supplies a current detection value indicating a detection result of the drive current to the control unit. The control unit determines whether or not a foreign fluid suction abnormality occurs in the electric pump, based on a first current detection value acquired at a first timing when the rotation speed command value changes from a first command value to a second command value and a second current detection value acquired after the first timing.

Abstract: A motor driving device for driving a motor is provided. The motor driving device includes: a driver outputting a drive signal for driving the motor to the motor; and a controller controlling a duty ratio of the drive signal based on three control parameters which are an initial duty ratio, a duty ratio increasing speed, and a target duty ratio. The controller has a normal control mode in which each of the three control parameters is a predetermined value, and a cryogenic control mode in which at least one of the three control parameters is a smaller value than in the normal control mode.
