Abstract: Disclosed are operation methods of station based on station density in wireless local area network. An operation method comprises obtaining density-related information indicating a station density state within a communication area of the first station; and transmitting a notification frame including at least one of an operation mode indication information and a clear channel assessment (CCA) threshold that are set based on the density-related information. Therefore, performance of WLAN can be enhanced.
