Abstract: A midsole structure of a shoe includes an upper midsole, a lower midsole disposed below the upper midsole, and a wavy sheet interposed between the upper midsole and the lower midsole. The wavy sheet has a wavy shape at its medial and lateral side edge portions and a planar area at its central portion. The lower surface of the upper midsole and the upper surface of the lower midsole have wavy shapes that correspond to the wavy shape of the wavy sheet at their medial and lateral side edge portions and have a planar area that corresponds to the planar area of the wavy sheet at their central portions. The lower surface of the upper midsole and the upper surface of the lower midsole have a plurality of recesses that are disposed in the longitudinal direction at their central portions.

Abstract: The invention is directed to transmitting ground surface information to a foot sole of a shoe wearer accurately. Sole structure 1 includes a sole body 2 having a sole bottom surface 20 on a ground surface side and a sole top surface 21 on the opposite side thereof, a plurality of first protrusions 3 formed of elastic member and disposed on the sole bottom surface 20, and a plurality of second protrusions 4 formed of elastic member, disposed on the sole top surface 21 and located at positions corresponding respectively to positions of the first protrusions 3. A sectional shape of the first protrusion 3 is formed so that it gradually becomes smaller as it leaves the sole bottom surface 20. A sectional shape of the second protrusion 4 is formed so that it gradually becomes smaller as it leaves the sole top surface 21. A distal end portion of the second protrusion 4 is formed of an arcuate shaped surface that protrudes upwardly. Abstract: A sole structure for a sports shoe that controls bendability of a forefoot region of the sole structure. The sole structure includes an upper midsole disposed on an upper side of the forefoot region of the sports shoe and formed of a soft elastic material, a lower midsole disposed under the upper midsole and formed of a soft elastic material, and an outsole that is disposed on a lower surface of the lower midsole and that has sole bent grooves extending substantially in a sole width direction. Both the lower surface of the upper midsole and the upper surface of the lower midsole have corrugated mating surfaces that are formed of wavy shapes extending substantially in a sole longitudinal direction. Ridge lines and trough lines of the wavy shapes of the upper midsole extend substantially in the sole width direction. The ridge lines of the wavy shapes of the upper midsole of a relatively higher hardness are overlapped with the sole bent grooves of the outsole in a vertical direction.

Abstract: A sole structure for a shoe that can reduce the burden of MP joints and a knee joint of a shoe wearer's foot during running and that can improve cushioning properties. The sole structure of the shoe includes an upper plate of a hard elastic member disposed at a forefoot region of the shoe, a lower plate of a hard elastic member disposed under and spaced away from the upper plate, and a midsole of a soft elastic member interposed between the upper plate and the lower plate. The midsole has a longitudinally extending hollow portion that is upwardly concavely curved at a lateral mid-portion of the midsole.
