Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a device and a method for controlling an operation of a system to perform a task. The system is communicatively coupled to a digital twin configured to concurrently simulate the operation of the system. The method includes collecting a sequence of control inputs for controlling the system to change states of the system according to the task. The method further includes collecting a sequence of outputs of the system caused by the corresponding sequence of control inputs. The method further includes estimating a current internal state of the digital twin using a neural network trained to estimate a sequence of internal states of the digital twin mapping the sequence of control inputs to the sequence of outputs. The method further includes performing the task using the current internal state of the digital twin.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system and a method for generating a radar image of a scene. The method comprises receiving radar measurements of a scene collected from a set of antennas, wherein the set of antennas are under uncertainties caused by one or a combination of position ambiguities and clock ambiguities of each of the antennas. The method further comprises generating the radar image of the scene by solving a sparse recovery problem. The sparse recovery problem determines, until a termination condition is met, a set of image shifts of the radar image corresponding to different uncertainties of the antennas and updates an estimate of the radar image, based on the determined set of image shifts of the radar image. The sparse recovery problem is solved with a neural network denoiser that denoises a filtering of the estimate of the radar image.

Abstract: A multiple input multiple output (MIMO) radar system for detecting a moving object is based on an explicit signal model. The explicit signal model accounts for waveform separation residuals by relating measurements of the virtual array to an auto-term including a Kronecker product of object-receiver signatures and transmitter-object signatures; and a cross-term including a Kronecker product of object-receiver signatures and transmitter-object residual signatures. The radar system uses a spatial MIMO object detector that is based on the explicit signal model to detect the moving object.

Abstract: A tracking system for tracking an expanded state of an object is provided. The tracking system comprises at least one processor and a memory having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the tracking system to execute a probabilistic filter that iteratively tracks a belief on the expanded state of the object, wherein the belief is predicted using a motion model of the object and is further updated using a compound measurement model of the object. The compound measurement model includes multiple probabilistic distributions constrained to lie on a contour of the object with a predetermined relative geometrical mapping to the center of the object. Further, the tracking system tracks the expanded state of the object based on the updated belief on the expanded state.

Abstract: Systems, methods and apparatus for image processing for reconstructing a super resolution image from multispectral (MS) images. Receive image data and initialize a fused image using a panchromatic (PAN) image, and estimate a blur kernel between the PAN image and the MS images as an initialization function. Iteratively, fuse a MS image with an associated PAN image of a scene using a fusing algorithm. Each iteration includes: update the blur kernel based on a Second-Order Total Generalized Variation function to regularize a kernel shape; fuse the PAN image and MS images with the updated blur kernel based on a local Laplacian prior function to regularize the high-resolution information to obtain an estimated fused image; compute a relative error between the estimated fused image of the current iteration and a previous estimated fused image from a previous iteration, to a predetermined threshold, to stop iterations stop, to obtain a PAN-sharpened image.

Abstract: A radar system for generating a radar image of a scene. Receive radar measurements of reflectivity of each point in the scene measured by receivers. Solve a radar image recovery (RIR) problem using stored data to produce the radar image. By connecting the radar measurements to a shift of a reflection field with a receiver shift. Abstract: Systems and methods for determining states of flow of objects in a scene. The methods and systems include measuring states of the flow at observed sample points of the scene, wherein the scene contains a set of sample points having subsets of observed and unobserved sample points. Store in a memory an operator specifying time-varying dynamics of training states of flow of the objects in the scene. Estimate, using the operator and the measured states at the subset of observed sample points, the states of the flow of the objects at the subset of unobserved sample points of the scene. Output the states of the flow at the set of unobserved sample points of the scene, so as to assist in a management of managing states of flow of objects in the scene.

Abstract: A radar system for generating a radar image of a scene includes an input interface to accept radar measurements of a scene collected from a set of antennas with clock ambiguities, wherein the radar measurements are measurements of reflections of a radar pulse transmitted to the scene, a hardware processor configured to solve a convex sparse recovery problem to produce a radar image of the scene, wherein the convex sparse recovery problem matches a time shift of the radar measurements with a signal generated by propagation of the radar pulse through a radar propagation function of the scene, wherein the time shift of the radar measurements is represented as a convolution of the radar measurements with a shift kernel that is one-sparse in time, and an output interface configured to render the radar image.

Abstract: Systems and methods for a radar system to produce a radar image of a region of interest (ROI). A set of antennas to transmit radar pulses to the ROI and to measure a set of reflections from the ROI corresponding to the transmitted radar pulses. A processor acquires an estimate of the radar image, by matching the reflections of the ROI measurements for each antenna. Determine a set of shifts of the radar image. Wherein each shift corresponds to an antenna, and is caused by an uncertainty in a position of the antenna. Update the estimate of the radar image, based on the determined set of shifts of the radar image. Wherein for each antenna, the estimate of the radar image is shifted by the determined shift of the radar image corresponding to the antenna, that fits the reflections of the ROI measurements of the antenna.

Abstract: Systems and methods for image processing for increasing resolution of a multi-spectral image. Accept a multi-spectral image including a set of images of a scene. A memory to store a set of dictionaries trained for different channels, and a set of filters trained for the different channels. A hardware processor is to process the set of images of the different channels with the set of filters, and to fuse, for each channel, the set of structures, to produce a set of fused structures. Wherein a fused structure of the channel is fused as a weighted combination of the set of structures using weights corresponding to the channel, such that the fused structures of different channels are combined with different weights. To process the set of fused structures with corresponding dictionaries from the set of dictionaries, to produce a super-resolution multi-spectral image. An output interface to render the super-resolution multi-spectral image.
