    Abstract: Provided is a rotor of a rotating electric machine, including: a rotor core; an end plate provided at an end portion of the rotor core in an axial direction of the rotor core; and a shaft passing through the rotor core and the end plate along the axial direction. The end plate includes: a flat plate portion that has an annular shape and is held in contact with the rotor core; and a warp portion that is formed more on an inner peripheral side of the end plate than the flat plate portion and is held in contact with the shaft. In a radial cross section of the end plate, the warp portion is warped so as to be apart from the rotor core as extending away from the flat plate portion.

    Abstract: In an IPM rotor, a first core sheet has a first sheet hole forming a part of an accommodation hole. The first sheet hole has an edge portion having a flat spring portion which is bent by a magnet through insertion of the magnet into the accommodation hole. A pair of recesses forming a clearance with respect to the magnet are formed at both side portions of the flat spring portion of the edge portion of the first sheet hole. A size of the clearance is set based on a relationship between a magnitude of a pressing force of the flat spring portion on the magnet and variation in pressing force.

    Abstract: This rotating electrical machine includes: a rotor formed from stacked steel sheets and fixed to a rotary shaft; a plurality of magnets arranged on the outer circumference of the rotor along the circumferential direction; and the same number of holders as the magnets, the holders being arranged between the magnets. The holder is press-fitted and fixed into the rotor by a press-fit portion extending in the radial direction of the rotary shaft. One circumferential-direction side of the magnet is positioned by the rotor, and another side is pressed in the circumferential direction by the holder. Both circumferential-direction ends of the magnet are pressed in the radial direction by the holders. Such a configuration provides a rotating electrical machine that enables a magnet to be accurately fixed to a rotor through simple work, at low cost.

    Abstract: A rotor core of a rotating electrical machine has interpole bridges each disposed on an outer circumferential side with respect to a permanent magnet in a non-magnetic portion between the poles, and interpole diameter bridges each surrounded by two permanent magnets and an interpole bridge. The outer circumferential surface of each interpole bridge is formed by a first flat surface. Thus, a path of a magnetic flux passing through a magnetic gap is lengthened, so that a q-axis inductance is reduced. In addition, a width in a radial direction of each interpole bridge and a width in a circumferential direction of each interpole diameter bridge are constant, and each interpole bridge and each interpole diameter bridge are disposed so as to be perpendicular to each other to form a T shape. Thus, the concentration of stress during press-fitting of the permanent magnet into a magnet hole can be reduced.
