摘要: A voice recording/playback apparatus includes a head unit which records a voice signal in a recording medium and for playing back a recorded voice signal from the recording medium. A playback head amplifier unit amplifies a playback signal output from the head unit. A voice output unit outputs a voice in accordance with the playback signal amplified by the playback head amplifier unit. A muting switch is provided between the playback head amplifier unit and the voice output unit. The muting switch cuts off a connection between the playback head amplifier unit and the voice output unit when a voice recording mode is performed by the head unit.

摘要: The invention provides an electronic device having a structure operable by the power of a battery pack. The electronic device includes: an authenticating section that authenticates a battery pack connected so as to supply power to determine whether the battery pack is a genuine product; a user interface; and a controller for controlling the electronic device. The controller tries authentication of the battery pack connected so as to supply power with the authentication section. When the battery pack has been authenticated, the discharging of the battery pack is enabled. When the battery pack has not been authenticated, the controller requests the user to input recognition whether the battery pack is a genuine product through the user interface, and changes the control for the battery pack between when the user inputs, in response to the request, the recognition that the battery pack is a genuine product and when the user inputs the recognition that the battery pack is not a genuine product.

摘要: An overvoltage output protector is electrically connected to a constant-voltage switching power supply which includes a switching transistor converting a DC voltage obtained by smoothing an AC voltage supplied from an AC power source into a cyclic pulse signal. In the overvoltage output protector, an overvoltage monitor whether a potential of the cyclic pulse signal is a predetermined value or more. A deactivator turns off the switching transistor in a case where the overvoltage monitor judges that the potential of the cyclic pulse signal is the predetermined value or more.

摘要: A sheet identifying device and method for identifying the kind of sheet or checking a sheet correctly by reducing the adverse influence of the wrinkle and stain of the sheet and of the displacement of a watermark pattern from the watermark area. A transmission optical sensor (8) images a sheet. A watermark area extracting section (12) extracts image data on a watermark area. A watermark area gravity center calculating section (13) calculates the center of gravity of the watermark area. A watermark pattern displacement calculating section (14) calculates the displacement of the watermark pattern from the center of gravity. An identification object image extracting section (15) extracts identification object image data with reference to the displacement. A scratch/stain detecting section (7) calculates the difference between the identification image data and a true template to extract an image of a scratch and stain. A pattern matching section (19) conducts pattern matching between the identification object image data corrected about the influence of the scratch and stain and the true template to identify the kind of sheet and check it.

摘要: A sheet identifying device and method for identifying the kind of sheet or checking whether a sheet is a genuine or counterfeit one correctly without influence of the state of the sheet. Data on the image of a sheet is acquired, and the image data is binarized according to a watermark region extraction threshold. Image data on the watermark region is extracted according to the sheet image data. The watermark region image data is binarized according to a watermark pattern extraction threshold. The center of gravity of the watermark region is calculated on the basis of the watermark region image data. The watermark region image data is divided into divisions using the center of gravity of the watermark region as the origin. From the watermark region image data, image data on a predetermined specific region is extracted. Values of distinctive features such as the center of gravity and area of the watermark pattern included in the specific region image data are extracted. According to the value of distinctive feature, the kind of the sheet is identified and the sheet is authenticated.
