Abstract: A composition comprises (a) a leuco compound and (b) a colorant. The colorant preferably has an Aesthetic Value Index (AVI) of greater than −4. The colorant preferably is also complementary to the color exhibited by the colored analogue of the leuco compound (e.g., complementary to the color exhibited by the oxidized analogue of the leuco compound).
