    Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide a system for processing data. During operation, the system obtains an assessment result containing a rating of a candidate with respect to a qualification for an opportunity. Next, the system determines, based on the assessment result, a position of the rating in a distribution of assessment results associated with the qualification and one or more attributes of the opportunity. The system then compares the position to a threshold to determine a recommendation related to the candidate and the opportunity. Finally, the system outputs the recommendation in association with the candidate.

    Abstract: Techniques for automatically deploying assessments over a computer network are provided. In one technique, an assessment is stored for applicants of an opportunity. First input that indicates that a first user applied for the opportunity is received. In response to receiving the first input, it is automatically determined to transmit a first assessment invitation to the first user. Second input that indicates that a second user applied for the opportunity is received. In response to receiving the second input, it is automatically determined to not transmit a second assessment invitation to the second user. Factors that may be considered in determining whether to transmit an assessment invitation include attributes (such as a review history) of the entity that created the opportunity or posting thereof, attributes (such as an assessment taking history) of the user that applied for the opportunity, and a current workload of the entity and of the user.

    Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for skill assessment test calibration. An assessment test calibration system presents a test question relating to a skill to a set of users of an employment services platform. The assessment test calibration system receives a set of answers provided by the users for the test question and determines a difficultly score for the test questions based on the set of answers and the profile data included in the user profiles of the set of users. The difficulty score indicates an estimated level of difficulty of the test question. The test question is presented as part of an adaptive skill assessment test administered to determine a user's proficiency in the skill. The test question is presented at a point during the adaptive skill assessment test based the difficulty score determined for the test question.

    Abstract: Technologies for suggesting changes to job posting data to increase performance of a job posting for a job opportunity are provided. The disclosed techniques include a system receiving poster data that includes a plurality of attributes for the job posting. The job posting is creating based on the poster data. Once created, the job posting is made available through a content management system to job seekers. While the job posting is available through the content management system, a first performance metric is determined for the job posting. A plurality of similar job postings is identified. A second performance metric is determined based upon the plurality of similar job postings. A comparison is performed between the first and second performance metric. Based on the comparison, a suggested change to the job posting is determined and the system causes the suggested change to be presented to the poster of the job posting.
