    摘要: In a joining structure of a turbine in which a shaft portion of a ceramic turbine rotor is joined to a metal shaft in the through bore of a metal sleeve by brazing, the joining structure of this invention comprises a first flange formed on the metal sleeve, the first flange extending toward the axis of the through bore, a second flange formed on the metal shaft, the second flange extending outward and the outside diameter thereof being larger than the inner diameter of the first flange, wherein side surfaces of the first and the second flanges are engaged and brazed with each other. An intermediate layer may be interposed between the bottom end of the shaft portion of the turbine rotor and the bottom end of the metal shaft for reinforcement. The intermediate layer is made of one or more than one metal selected from the group consisting of Ni, Cu, Fe, Ag, KOVAR, Fe-Ni Alloy, and W alloy.

    摘要: A wiring substrate includes a wiring substrate body and a stiffener. The latter is formed from a rolled metallic sheet and is bonded to a first main surface of the wiring substrate body. The stiffener has a boundary profile, in a plan view, which is substantially identical to that of the wiring substrate body, and a first direction of the boundary profile of the stiffener or the wiring substrate body intersects the rolling direction of the stiffener at an angle. This construction reduces the amount of deformation of the wiring substrate produced by bonding of the stiffener to the wiring substrate body and/or caused by temperature variations experienced by the construction. Because of this reduction in deformation, the wiring substrate provides improved reliability with respect to connections made to an electronic component mounted thereon as well as improved reliability with respect to connections made to another printed wiring board.

    摘要: A rotatable member (40) such as a sprocket is rotatably mounted on a fixed shaft member (32), and a first oil passage (72) extending in a radial direction is formed by a thrust member (36) abutting an axial end surface of the rotating member. The inner end of the first oil passage communicates with a radial bearing interface (A) of the rotatable member, and an oil jet ejected from an orifice (68) of an oil nozzle (66) is directed to an open outer end of the first lubricating oil passage. Because the first oil passage is fixed in position, the radial bearing interface receives an adequate supply of lubricating oil fed from the oil nozzle. The other axial end of the rotating member may be provided with a second lubricating oil passage (82) which also extends in a radial direction, the second lubricating oil passage having an open outer end and an open inner end communicating with the radial bearing interface. The centrifugal force acting on the lubricating oil in the second lubricating oil passage promotes a favorable re-circulation of the lubricating oil, and hence a favorable lubrication.
