Abstract:
A connector (A) includes a resiliently deformable resilient receiving portion (35) arranged to traverse an opening area of a lock hole (32) formed in a holder (30) and linked to an inner surface of the lock hole (32) at links (36) on opposite ends in a longitudinal direction. A locking rib (15) projects from a lock projection (12) formed in a housing (10) and extends along the longitudinal direction of the resilient receiving portion (35). The locking rib (15) causes the resilient receiving portion (35) to curve and deform in the process of assembling the housing (10) and the holder (30). Escaping edges (18) are formed on opposite longitudinal ends of a projecting edge (16) of the locking rib (15). The escaping edges (18) are oblique to the longitudinal direction of the resilient receiving portion (35) that is not resiliently deformed, and substantially face the links (36).
Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a fuel cell separator, the method including: subjecting the peripheral surfaces other than the respective gas passages of a pair of separator substrates formed from stainless steel to a cathodic electrolytic treatment within an alkali solution, thereby forming an iron-based hydrated oxide film on the peripheral surfaces of the pair of separator substrates (S200), conducting a water treatment by wetting the surface of the iron-based hydrated oxide film with water (S202), performing electrodeposition coating of an electrocoating material containing an aqueous resin onto at least one of the water-treated iron-based hydrated oxide films provided on the pair of separator substrates (S204), and baking the aqueous resin obtained by electrodeposition coating (S206).
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, stereoscopic glasses include a first shutter, a second shutter, a receiver, and a controller. The first shutter allows or hinders left eye vision. The second shutter allows or hinders right eye vision. The receiver receives a first control signal to open or close the first shutter and a second control signal to open or close the second shutter from a display device that, in synchronization with display timing of a video signal for left eye and a video signal for right eye, displays the video signals. The controller controls the first shutter and the second shutter to open or close based on the first control signal and the second control signal, respectively, while switching between stereoscopic view mode and planar view mode depending on the distance to the display device.
Abstract:
A terminal fitting includes: a body portion having a space for inserting a tab of a mating terminal therein; an elastic contact piece provided to face the space, having a configuration as to be extended like a cantilever in a direction of an insertion and pull-out of the tab with respect to the space through a wall-shaped portion constituting the body portion, and having a contact portion to come in contact with the tab; and an elastic reinforcing piece provided on an opposite side to the space with the elastic contact piece interposed therebetween, having a configuration as to be extended like a cantilever in the direction of the insertion and pull-out of the tab from the wall-shaped portion constituting the body portion, and causing an extended end to correspond to a displaced region in an elastic flexure in the elastic contact piece.
Abstract:
A connector includes: a terminal fitting having a body portion; and a housing having a cavity that receives the terminal fitting, wherein the body portion has a first protrusion that protrudes from an outer surface of the body portion and an interference avoiding portion, wherein the first protrusion and the interference avoiding portion are disposed to be opposed to each other substantially in a diagonal line on a virtual projection plane, and wherein the cavity is formed with, in an inner surface thereof, a first groove into which the first protrusion is allowed to enter only when the terminal fitting has a proper insertion posture relative to the cavity and an interference portion that is formed to swell from the inner surface of the cavity to narrow a gap with the interference avoiding portion.
Abstract:
A terminal fitting (30) includes a main portion (31) substantially in the form of a rectangular tube formed with a locking hole (42) open in an outer surface. The terminal fitting (30) is inserted into a cavity (12) formed in a housing 10 made of synthetic resin and retained by engaging the locking hole (42) with a locking lance (13) in the form of a cantilever extending along an inner wall of the cavity (12). Restrictions (44) are formed in the main portion (31) and contact the locking lance (13) to prevent any further entering movement of the locking lance (13) when the locking lance (13) enters the main portion (31) in an undesirable manner.
Abstract:
In a medical digital X-ray imaging apparatus having a plurality of imaging modes including computed tomography mode, a supporter supports an X-ray source and a digital X-ray sensor having a two-dimensional detection plane for detecting X-rays, while interposing an object between them. An image reconstructor acquires data from the digital X-ray sensor and reconstructs an image based on the acquired data. An operator selects one of a first imaging mode and a second imaging mode. The second imaging mode has an irradiation field different from the first imaging mode and has an area to be read in the digital X-ray sensor smaller than that in the first imaging mode.
Abstract:
In order for a tip end portion of a holding plate not to catch up on a cover glass holder when a lamp unit is stored in a lamp storage unit, a surface of the cover glass holder which confronts the holding plate is processed into a shape which does not project, in concrete terms, into the shape of a curved surface or the shape of a sloping plane. By doing this, even though the tip end portion of the holding plate strikes against the cover glass holder, since it passes smoothly thereover without catching up thereupon, accordingly, it is possible for the lamp unit to be smoothly stored in the lamp storage unit.
Abstract:
A lamp unit and an intake fan are connected together by a duct, and a partition plate is formed within the duct so as to extend between the two ends of the duct, thus dividing the interior of the duct into a plurality of blocks, and thereby venting between the two ends of the duct. Furthermore, the partition plate intersects the direct optical path of emitted ultraviolet light passing from the lamp along within the duct towards the intake fan. This ultraviolet light does not arrive directly at the intake fan, since the partition plate cuts off the ultraviolet light emitted from the lamp directly towards the fan, so that it is possible to prevent the intake fan from being bathed in this ultraviolet light.
