A businesses are identified within each of a number of incremental areas of an overall map area. Corresponding land use types are identified for the incremental areas. A predominant land use type is identified for each incremental area. A land use map is generated with colors the respective incremental area using a predetermined color assigned to the predominant land use type for the respective incremental area.
