Abstract: Display assemblies providing electric vehicle charging are disclosed which include side assemblies connected to a frame having an electronic display and power supplies and electric vehicle charging equipment, including internal and external components. The electric vehicle charging equipment and the one or more side assemblies are each connectable to an external power supply in a manner which electrically separates power supplied to at least a bulk energy storage device of the electric vehicle charging equipment from power supplied to at least an electronic display subassembly power supply of the one or more side assemblies.

Abstract: A method of increasing thermal conduction in an electronic display assembly includes securing a panel forming part of a thermal management substructure for the electronic display assembly, depositing a structural adhesive to at least one of an electronic component for operating the electronic display assembly and the panel, securing said electronic component directly to a first side of the panel by way of the adhesive, and securing the thermal management substructure within a housing of the electronic display assembly such that a second side of said panel defines, at least in part, at least a portion of an airflow pathway of the electronic display assembly of which the thermal management substructure forms a part.

An external portion of the electric vehicle charging equipment is connected to the structural frame and located rearward of the cover of each of the one or more side assemblies, where the cover is located forward of a display layer. An internal portion of the electric vehicle charging equipment is located at a cavity provided below or rearward of the cover of each of the one or more side assemblies.

Abstract: Systems for forced air cooling of display assemblies are provided. An electronic display subassembly is located behind a cover and includes an interior channel. An open loop centrifugal fan is positioned at an intake or an exhaust and forces ambient air through an open loop pathway when activated. A closed loop airflow pathway encircles the electronic display subassembly. A closed loop centrifugal fan is positioned at a side channel and forces circulating gas through the closed loop airflow pathway. Electronic components for operating the display assembly are provided with the rear compartment.

Abstract: A rooftop mounted display assembly includes a first and second electronic display located at a housing for mounting to a roof of a vehicle. Apertures are vertically spaced apart along either end of thermal plates located behind the electronic displays. Abstract: An apparatus and method for reducing or combating bowing of an electronic display layer located behind a cover panel is provided. A rear panel is positioned behind the electronic display layer. An air pathway includes a first gas pathway between said cover panel and the electronic display layer, a cavity located between the electronic display layer and the rear panel, and a second gas pathway located behind the rear panel. The air pathway is configured to cause the pressure of air in the cavity to be lower than the pressure of air in the first gas pathway.
