Abstract: A bathroom management apparatus capable of circulating air to dry a bathroom and discharging moisture before the moisture enters a case is disclosed. The case of the bathroom management apparatus includes an upper front part having an air intake port, a lower front part having a first air discharge port and an intermediate front part defined between the upper front part and the lower front part and depressed rearward, an intake vane including first hinge portions for opening and closing the air intake port, and a first discharge vane including second hinge portions for opening and closing the first air discharge port, wherein a region of the rear surface of the intake vane between the two first hinge portions and a region of the rear surface of the first discharge vane between the two second hinge portions define a first flow channel that is excluded from the intermediate front part.

Abstract: A bathroom management apparatus capable of circulating air through a duct and discharging moisture that has entered the duct is disclosed. The bathroom management apparatus includes a case including an air intake port formed in a front surface thereof, a first air discharge port formed in the front surface thereof and a second air discharge port formed in a lower surface thereof, a duct provided in the case so as to connect the air intake port, the first air discharge port and the second air discharge port to each other, a damper provided in the duct so as to direct air toward one of the first air discharge port and the second air discharge port, and a second discharge vane for opening and closing the second air discharge port, wherein the damper includes a first water discharge port and the second discharge vane includes a second water discharge port.

Abstract: A clothes treating apparatus that includes a heat pump cycle and a dehumidifying device is provided herein. The clothes treating apparatus may include a case and a drum installed within the case and configured to accommodate an item for drying. A circulation duct may be provided to form an air circulation flow channel that allows air to circulate through the drum. The heat pump cycle may include an evaporator and a condenser disposed to be spaced apart from one another within the circulation duct, the heat pump cycle being configured to absorb heat of air released from the drum through the evaporator and transmit the absorbed heat to air introduced to the drum through the condenser, by using a working fluid that circulates by way of the evaporator and the condenser. Moreover, the dehumidification device may be provided to dehumidify air passing through the evaporator in the circulation duct.

Abstract: A condensing type clothes dryer having a heat pump cycle and a method for controlling a condensing type clothes dryer having a heat pump cycle are provided. The condensing type clothes dryer may include a drum in which an object to be dried may be accommodated; a circulation duct that forms a circulation passage such that air may circulate via the drum; a circulation fan configured to circulate the air along the circulation duct; a heat pump cycle having an evaporator and a condenser spaced from each other in the circulation duct, and configured to absorb heat of air discharged from the drum through the evaporator and to transfer the heat to air introduced into the drum through the condenser using an operation fluid which may circulate via the evaporator and the condenser; a bypass flow path formed at the circulation duct such that a portion of air discharged from the drum may bypass the evaporator to be mixed with air having passed through the evaporator at an upstream side of the condenser; and an opening and closing device installed at the bypass flow path and configured to selectively open or close the bypass flow path.

At least one of the first compressor or the second compressor may be provided with an inverter that changes a drive speed of the compressor through a frequency conversion. The controller may drive the at least one of the first compressor or the second compressor within a predetermined drive range, by controlling the drive speed of the at least one of the first compressor or the second compressor using the inverter.
