Abstract: An information processing system may include at least one home appliance, a terminal configured to process information of the at least one home appliance, an individual service area configured to provide an individual service, and an information processing apparatus connected to the terminal and the at least one home appliance through a network and configured to provide an application service using the individual service. The information processing apparatus may be configured to receive basic information on changes of a schedule of a user, confirm user's schedule information from the basic information by using the individual service, confirm a first state of the at least one home appliance, which is a current state of the at least one home appliance, and change the at least one home appliance from the first state into a second state in response to the user's schedule information.
