Abstract: The invention relates to an assembly having a refill and an appliance designed for using the refill, the appliance having an insertion guide along which the refill travels, the refill having an element that serves as a use memory and the accommodating structure having a relief that acts on said element when the refill is fitted on the appliance for the first time, so as to cause it to pass from an inactive configuration to an active configuration, the accommodating structure having a locking member disposed to as to intercept said element when the latter is in the active configuration, while the refill is being fitted in and removed from the accommodating structure, the locking member can be passed over by said element in the direction of removal of the refill and such that the locking member prevents said element from passing in the direction of insertion of the refill.

Abstract: The appliance for treating the hair, having two arms to be closed over the hair to be treated, at least one of the arms carrying a refill of hair treatment product, the appliance having an electronic control circuit with an electronic memory, this circuit being designed to detect the closure of the arms and the fitting of the refill, the appliance having a steam generator for outputting steam onto the hair and at least one heated straightening plate, the appliance being designed to increment a variable in the memory during the use of the appliance after the refill has been changed and to pass into a downgraded mode of operation in which the operation of the steam generator and/or of the straightening plate is modified when the variable exceeds a first predefined threshold.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for treating the hair including a first and a second arm connected together by a joint and able to move with respect to one another between a closed configuration for treating the hair and a spread configuration for engaging between them the hairs to be treated. The device also includes a refill including a body having a housing, a member for applying a cosmetic product received in the housing. The refill includes at least one first mounting means engaging with at least one second mounting means of the first arm, in such a way that the assembly of the first and second mounting means is performed by moving the first mounting means along an axis (Y) substantially parallel to the joint, relative to the second mounting means.

Abstract: The invention relates to a cosmetic product refill for a device for treating hair, which includes at least one heating element, the cosmetic product refill including a rib or groove for fastening the refill to the device and a cosmetic product applicator element in the form of a sheet, such that the rib or groove is designed to fasten the cosmetic product refill to the device for treating the hair in such a way that a part of the cosmetic product refill is offset laterally with respect to the heating element(s), and such that at least one portion of the applicator element is designed to extend next to the heating element(s). The invention also relates to a device for treating the hair including such a refill.
