    Abstract: A method is provided for adjusting a loupe including an eyepiece and a tube framework having a first optical system adjacent to an object and a second optical system adjacent to the eyepiece. At least two zoom lenses in the first optical system shift along an optical axis between a first and a second position to change magnification. The method includes shifting at least one lens in the first optical system such that a distance at which the object is focused when the zoom lenses are shifted to the first position is substantially equal to a distance at which the object is focused when the zoom lenses are shifted to the second position; and then shifting at least one lens in the second optical system along the optical axis such that the object is focused when the zoom lenses are shifted to the first position or the second position.

    Abstract: A loupe is bonded to a glasses-type holder to be worn around a head of a user. The loupe includes: a tube framework inserted into a hole or a cutout formed in the glasses-type holder and bonded with a UV adhesive; and a lens held in the tube framework. At least a portion at which the UV adhesive is applied in the tube framework is made of a resin not resistant to acetone and is covered with a paint resistant to acetone.

    Abstract: Lens barrel includes: a rotating barrel which holds a first optical system and includes an adjustment member that can protrude from an inner circumferential surface; and a fixed barrel which holds a second optical system and includes a helical groove with which the adjustment member engages on an outer circumferential surface. The adjustment member can be located in a first or a second position with respect to the helical groove. Part of the adjustment member is in the helical groove in any of the first position and the second position. When in the first position, the adjustment member can slide along the helical groove, so the rotating barrel helically rotates relative to the fixed barrel, and when in the second position, the adjustment member is in contact with the helical groove, to prevent rotation of the rotating barrel with respect to the fixed barrel.
