摘要: A liquid crystal display device (100) according to the present invention includes an active matrix substrate (120); a counter substrate (140); and a liquid crystal layer (160). Each of pixels (P) includes sub pixels (Spa, Spb) respectively having liquid crystal capacitances (CLa, CLb) and storage capacitances (CCa, CCb). A gate bus line (Lg) includes gate lines (Lga, Lgb) electrically connected to gates of thin film transistors (130a, 130b) and a connection line (Lgc) for electrically connecting the gate line (Lga) and the gate line (Lgb) to each other. A sub pixel electrode (124a) strides over the gate line (Lga), and a sub pixel electrode (124b) strides over the gate line (Lgb). Owing to this, change of a parasitic capacitance caused by an alignment shift between the sub pixel electrode and the gate bus line is suppressed.

摘要: A display panel with built-in optical sensors is provided that can accurately remove a noise component in an imaging signal of an image pick-up sensor in a display region without being influenced by distance from a heat source or distance from a sensor output terminal. The display panel with built-in optical sensors has an active matrix substrate having a pixel region in which pixels are disposed in a matrix, and is configured such that optical sensors are formed in at least a portion of the pixel region. Among the optical sensors in the pixel region are image pick-up sensors (12S) and light-shielded sensors (12B) that are shielded from light. The display panel with built-in optical sensors further includes a correction circuit (4) that corrects sensor output of the image pick-up sensors (12S) with use of sensor output from the light-shielded sensors (12B).

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a display device that achieves a balance between color reproducibility and luminance under the premise that the display device uses a display panel in which each pixel is configured by sub-pixels of four or more colors. An outside light detecting unit (500) outputs a current Ia according to the intensity of outside light. A switching control circuit (600) outputs a display mode selection signal (S) for selecting a display mode, based on the magnitude of the current (Ia). An output selection circuit (120) provides RGB image signals to an input selection circuit (160) when in a first display mode (when it is dark) and provides RGB image signals to a gray scale value converting unit (140) when in a second display mode (when it is bright). In the first display mode, a W image signal generated by a black signal generation circuit (130) is used as a gray scale signal (DV). In the second display mode, a W image signal generated by the gray scale value converting unit (140) referring to a gray scale value determination table (150) is used as a gray scale signal (DV).

摘要: A color filter substrate includes a base member, a color filter layer, and spacers. The color filter layer is provided on the base member and made up of first, second and third groups of color filters, which transmit light rays representing three different colors, respectively. The spacers are provided at predetermined relative positions for selected ones of the color filters. The selected color filters consist of color filters belonging to the first group, color filters belonging to the second group, and color filters belonging to the third group. The spacers are arranged such that in the selected color filters, the smallest number of color filters of the first, second or third group is at least 80% of the largest number of color filters of the first, second or third group.

摘要: An apparatus is for inhibiting fuels from flowing out of fuel tanks, and includes a cover, a breather pipe, an upper case, a lower case, and a floating valve. The upper case is welded to the breather pipe in an airtight manner so as to form a chamber for holding the lower case, in which the floating valve is accommodated, therein. Moreover, the breather pipe is welded to the cover in an airtight manner. The apparatus not only obviates O-rings but also is downsized, because the upper case and the breather pipe are sealed by welding.

摘要: In an in-building CATV system in which an upward signal is frequency-converted to an in-building upward signal using an up-converter at a terminal side and the frequency-converted in-building upward signal is outputted to an external system after frequency-converting the in-building upward signal to an upward signal for outputting using a down-converter, a high frequency signal for frequency conversion leaking out from the up-converter is occasionally transmitted to the down-converter. Then, a trap circuit for removing the high frequency signal is provided on an in-building upward signal path in each converter. And an equalizer is provided on an upward signal path in each converter to compensate a transmission loss in the frequency band of the in-building upward signal occurring when the in-building upward signal is passed through the trap circuit.
