Abstract:
A rotary magnetic reproducing apparatus for use in an electronic still camera system, wherein a magnetic head is moved in the radial direction of a magnetic disc rotation in a disk pack to thereby perform image reproduction. Control logic is provided to warn the operator if the operator attempts to position the magnetic head outside of the image data envelope. A further warning is provided if operation is attempted when a disc pack is not loaded in the reproducing apparatus.
Abstract:
A rotary magnetic recording-reproducing apparatus in an electronic camera system, wherein a subject is purely electronically still-photographed and recorded on a rotating magnetic disc, and the reproduction of an image is carried out by a television set or a printer. When the tracking operation is performed up to the final track and the recording track cannot be detected (an envelope cannot be detected), a warning is issued on the basis of this fact so that loading of an unrecorded disc can be detected. Furthermore, when a track having a number other than one of the numbers of reproducible tracks is to be reproduced, a warning is given so that an operator can be informed of the fact that an unreproducible track has been reached.
Abstract:
A magnetic recorder or reproducer in an electronic camera system wherein a subject is pure-electronically still-photographed and recorded on a rotating magnetic disc, and the reproducing of an image is carried out by a television system or a printer. In this rotary magnetic recording-reproducing apparatus, the addressing of tracks is performed under two modes including absolute addresses and relative addresses, so that the most proper mode can be used in accordance with the purpose of use of the track addresses. Particularly, the adverse influence of a shift in the addressing due to a dropout can be eliminated and a shift in the numbering when the track number is displayed can be also eliminated.
Abstract:
A method of generating data for controlling an operation of a gaming machine is provided. The gaming machine includes a reel, a first driver for driving the reel, a rendering device, and a second driver for driving the rendering device. A data sheet including a plurality of rows and a plurality of columns is provided. Columns include a trigger field, a reel field being predefined to be associated with the first driver, and an effect field being predefined to be associated with the second driver. When a first command for controlling the first driver is input to in the reel field of the first set of rows, and at least one second command for controlling the second driver is input to the effect field of the first set of rows, the second command is executed in synchronization with the first command.
Abstract:
A peripheral device (sandwiched device) to be installed adjacent to a gaming machine, including an imaging unit (CCD camera) configured to image a player who is playing a game with the gaming machine and output face image data for identifying the face of the player obtained by imaging, and a CPU configured to: obtain information about a game the player played with the gaming machine; determine whether or not an illegality condition is met based on the obtained information about the game; and set whether or not to activate the imaging unit based on the determination result.
Abstract:
The present application provides a game playing information integration system which is capable of objectively performing selection and/or settings according to preference of a player, particularly fixed customers, and thereby capable of effectively introducing a gaming machine to invoke demands of players as users and managers of gaming facilities in a well-balanced manner from a result obtained by logically analyzing the gaming machine. (a) Game playing period at one time of each player in gaming machine unit, (b) change in balance over time of player in a game playing period, (c) operation time of the gaming machine unit, and (d) data relating to profit of a shop side by the gaming machine are generated, the degree of satisfaction of player is computed based on (a) and (b), and the degree of satisfaction of a shop side is computed based on (c) and (d).
Abstract:
A game playing information integration system which outputs the operation state of game units installed in a gaming facility, the proportions of visitors by type, and the trends of the greatest common preferences of visitors seen from the proportion and other information so that such information can be grasped in real time, and provides useful information for appropriately managing the operation and management of the gaming facility while achieving greater harmony of players and the gaming facility (shop) is provided.
Abstract:
A data output device according to the present invention comprises: an output device capable of outputting an image and/or a sound; a memory which stores a plurality of types of output data for outputting the image and/or the sound; a receiver for receiving, from a slot machine, a trigger signal including specification information for specifying the output data; and a controller, the controller programmed to conduct the processes of: (A) receiving the trigger signal from the slot machine through the receiver; and (B) extracting, from the memory, an output data corresponding to the specification information included in the trigger signal and causing the output device to output the image and/or the sound based on the extracted output data.
Abstract:
A game server controls plural game machine groups including a collection of game machines, each of which is brought into a status enabling to start a game based on a thrown coin or a given credit number and is given a payout according to a result of the game. The game server includes a processing unit that judges whether a cumulative credit consumption of a predetermined game machine group reaches a predetermined upper limit, based on information about credit consumptions of the plural game machine groups. The game server also includes a communication interface that sends, when the processing unit judges that the cumulative credit consumption of the predetermined game machine group reaches the predetermined upper limit, a return signal for executing a return based on a predetermined return rate, to one game machine of the predetermined game machine group. The return is executed regardless of a game result.
Abstract:
A gaming machine including a display, an operating unit, and a controller is provided. The display displays a plurality of symbols in a base game to display a bonus game image in a bonus game, and displays an award according to a game result. The operating unit accepts an operation of a player. The controller executes the base game, awards a payout according to a game result of the base game to the player, triggers the bonus game including a plurality of unit games when a combination of the symbols in the base game satisfies a predetermined condition, selects any one mode for each unit game among a plurality of modes including an automatic mode and a technical mode of each unit game, executes each unit game in a corresponding selected mode, and awards a payout according to a game result of the bonus game to the player.
