    Abstract: A fixing device includes a fixing roller, a pressure roller, and a regulation member. The fixing roller includes a roller member and a fixing belt. The roller member includes a shaft which extends in one direction and an elastic layer integrally formed on the shaft. Each regulation member has an annular regulation surface which opposes a side edge of the fixing belt, and is configured to regulate movement of the fixing belt in a rotation axis direction. The regulation surface is inclined relative to a line perpendicular to the rotation axis as viewed on a cross-section parallel to the rotation axis. The regulation surface is inclined from the rotation axis side such that the closer the regulation surface is to an outside, in a radial direction, of the fixing roller, the closer the regulation surface is to a center, in a length direction, of the shaft.

    Abstract: The fixing device includes a fixing belt, a pressing member, a pushing member and a cap. The fixing belt is endless and rotatable. The pressing member is configured to form a pressing area with the fixing belt. The pushing member is configured to come into contact with an inner circumferential face of the fixing belt via a lubricant and to push the fixing belt to the pressing member at the pressing area. The cap is configured to be attached to an end portion of the fixing belt through an elastic member. The cap has a contact part with which an end face of the fixing belt comes into contact. The contact part has a groove configured to store the lubricant leaked from the fixing belt. The groove is formed such that a width is varied along a radial direction of the cap.

    Abstract: A fixing device includes a heating body, a pressuring body, a heat source and a detecting mechanism. The detecting mechanism is not in contact with the heating body and including an infrared detecting element which detects infrared rays radiated from an outer circumferential face of the heating body. A longitudinal direction of the heating body is a second direction which crosses a first direction as a conveying direction of a recording medium. A detected area is arranged on the outer circumferential face of the heating body so that the infrared rays radiated from the detected area is detected by the infrared detecting element. The detecting mechanism is arranged in a posture inclined to another posture facing the outer circumferential face of the heating body so that a width in the second direction of the detected area is wider than a width in the first direction of the detected area.

    Abstract: A fixing device includes a heating body, a pressuring body, a heat source and a detecting mechanism. The detecting mechanism is not in contact with the heating body and including an infrared detecting element which detects infrared rays radiated from an outer circumferential face of the heating body.     Abstract: A fixing device includes a fixing belt, a heating source and a fixing roller. The fixing belt has a sheet passing part and a non-sheet passing part. The fixing roller includes an elastic layer including first and second elastic parts. The first elastic part is provided on an inner diameter side of the sheet passing part. The second elastic part is provided on an inner diameter side of the non-sheet passing part. A gap is formed between a part of the elastic layer and the fixing belt in a state where the fixing belt is not heated. The part of the elastic layer is in close contact with the fixing belt in a state where the fixing belt is heated.     Abstract: An image forming apparatus has an operation panel and is operable from an operation panel and a mobile terminal.
