Abstract: A method and apparatus to implement a unified and decentralized machine interface for control of multi-printer systems is disclosed. A master controller device accepts a selection control from a user indicating a plurality of selected printers from printers connected to the master controller device by a network. The master controller device accepts an operation control from the user, indicating at least one printer operation to be performed on the plurality of selected printers. The master controller broadcasts a simultaneous control signal to the plurality of selected printers with data instructing the printers to immediately perform at least one printer operation, triggering, substantially simultaneously with the broadcasting of the simultaneous control signal, performance of the at least one printer operation at the plurality of selected printers, and performing the at least one printer operation substantially simultaneously at the plurality of selected printers immediately upon receiving the simultaneous control signal.

In such a method, design and coloring of a textile patch and the textile material is detected. This detection includes: capturing images of the textile patch and the textile material with a camera; sending the images to a programmed computer system in communication with the camera for image processing; determining thickness and colors of the textile patch and the textile material from the image processing of the images; and determining position of the textile patch relative to a pattern of the textile material from the image processing of the images. After the detecting, data obtained from the detecting is displayed on a display screen of the programmed computer system.

In an example method thereof, an apps list is obtained by a dynamic scheduling service for an operating system. The apps list is generated responsive to a query by the operating system responsive to a request by the dynamic scheduling service. Dynamic scheduling data is obtained by the dynamic scheduling service, which includes generating the dynamic scheduling data by an artificial intelligence service including filtering apps on the apps list responsive to a policy. A dynamic user interface is created by the dynamic scheduling service responsive to the dynamic scheduling data, which includes deactivating one or more of the apps on the apps list by the artificial intelligence service responsive to the policy.
