摘要: Commissioning of a transportation infrastructure peripheral device in a transportation infrastructure control network is disclosed. In the arrangement a peripheral device is attached to a transportation infrastructure control network through a network element or directly to a controller. When the connection has been made, a process for identifying and granting appropriate access rights is initiated. As a result, common network technologies can be used for transmitting information that is critical for elevator operation.

摘要: A method for generating at least one installation operation for at least one on-going installation process of at an installation site includes obtaining site information of the at least one ongoing installation process at the installation site from a site control unit arranged at the installation site, obtaining site information gathered from one or more previous installation processes at one or more other installation sites from one or more external databases, defining at least one installation operation for the at least one ongoing installation process based on the site information of the at least one ongoing installation process and the site information gathered from the one or more previous installation processes, and generating at least one signal including an instruction to perform the at least one installation operation for the at least one ongoing installation process to the site control unit. A computing unit, an installation support system, and a computer program performing at least partly the method are disclosed.

摘要: To have an integrated device management for a hybrid elevator environment, at least one converter for converting device management messages according to a second protocol used by one or more peripheral devices to be according to a first protocol, which is used by the device management of the elevator environment, is added to the elevator environment. Further, the device management is configured to update, in response to receiving a device management message containing, as device information, at least an identifier of a peripheral device, network information to contain the device information in the device management message.
