Abstract:
A method for fastening a paper product roll entity to a pallet by continuous plastic foil. The pallet has a cross direction and a longitudinal direction. A first sequence is repeated at least once. The first sequence includes wrapping the paper product roll entity such that a first continuous foil unwound from a foil head travels over the paper product roll entity and under the pallet, and moving in a cross direction a head of the foil or the pallet having the paper product roll entity on its substantially horizontal plane. After the first sequence, a second sequence is repeated at least once. The second sequence includes wrapping a second continuous foil spirally around the paper product roll entity.

Abstract:
A device for spreading of a top wrapping flm in wrapping in a wrapping machine. The wrapping machine is provided with a top film device which has a top film roll as well as devices for feeding and pulling the top film. These devices are arranged to spread the top film above the product to be packaged and to cut the top film to the specified dimension. The device is provided, as well, with a press plate which presses the product to be packaged from above, for the purpose of keeping the product to be packaged in position during the wrapping. The devices for feeding and for pulling of the top film are arranged on a frame of the wrapping machine, to be simultaneously movable in opposite directions with respect to one another. When products to be packaged are being exchanged and when the wrapping is interrupted, the feed device is arranged to pull a top film out of a top film roll substantially to a middle of the wrapping station. The pulling device is arranged to fetch or grasp a leading end of the top film from a middle of the wrapping station and to pull the top film across the wrapping station underneath the press plate, and to a stand-by position. At the same time, the feed device returns to its starting position and cuts off the top film to a specified dimension. A method for the spreading of the top wrapping film is also provided herein.
Abstract:
In a process and apparatus for seaming and cutting off a wrapping film wrapped about a product, a wrapping film holder moves the wrapping film against the film already wrapped about the product. Then, hot air from within the film holder is blown against the wrapping film for seaming and cutting off the film.
Abstract:
Apparatus for packaging articles in film material includes a frame structure and a mechanism for wrapping film material around a stationary article received in the frame structure. The mechanism includes a rotatable frame assembly mounted for rotation in the frame structure and apparatus for rotating the same. A roll of film material is mounted on the rotatable frame assembly along with braking and diverting rolls. A gripping device is provided to selectively engage and release the film material during rotation of the rotatable frame assembly. The rotatable frame assembly is itself mounted in a support frame arranged in the frame structure for reciprocating movement in up and down directions, i.e., the support frame carrying the rotatable frame assembly can be raised and lowered. A cut-off and seaming device is provided for cutting the film material and for seaming or affixing the cut-off end thereof. A pressing device is arranged to be descendable onto the article being packaged.
