摘要: A transfer unit, which transfers a toner image formed on at least one image support to a printing medium, and an image forming apparatus employing the same. The transfer unit includes: an intermediate transfer body to the toner image from the image support, which has a curved transfer surface and an ASKER-A hardness of from about 25° to 40°; a transfer member, which has an ASKER-C hardness of from about 45° to 70°, and which contacts the intermediate transfer body, with a printing medium being interposed therebetween, and transfers the toner image from the intermediate transfer body to the printing medium. The transfer unit may further include: a de-electrifying member having a DC power and an AC power concurrently applied thereto, to de-electrify the printing.

Therefore, paper sheets having various sizes may be loaded in the paper cassette, and the size of an image forming apparatus with the paper cassette and the packing size of the image forming apparatus may be reduced without limitation on the size of the paper cassette.

摘要: A developer removing apparatus is provided of a liquid printer for removing a developer remaining between a photoreceptor belt and a squeeze roller. The apparatus includes a suction nozzle having a suction portion formed in an axial direction of the squeeze roller to suck the developer and an exhaust portion for exhausting the developer sucked by the suction portion. The apparatus further includes a suction pump providing a suction force to the suction nozzle so that the suction portion can suck the developer and exhaust the developer from the exhaust portion.

摘要: A sheet coating apparatus for coating a coating liquid on a sheet traveling along a predetermined transfer path, including a storage tank in which the coating liquid is contained, a coating roller which is in contact with the sheet and which is rotatably installed on the transfer line, for coating the coating liquid supplied from the storage tank on the surface of the sheet, and a coated amount regulating mechanism which is securely pressed against the surface of the coating roller which regulates the amount of the coating liquid coated on the sheet by squeegeeing the coating liquid sticking on the surface of the coating roller. The sheet coating apparatus can prevent excess coating liquid from being coated on a sheet by regulating the amount of the coating liquid coated on the sheet, thereby attaining uniform coating.
