Abstract: Various embodiments of a system for generating an inhalable aerosol are described. The system includes a insert configured to be inserted into a compartment of a vaporizer device. In some embodiments, the insert includes a jacket defining an inner chamber configured to contain a vaporizable material and a heating element configured to heat the vaporizable material, thereby generating the inhalable aerosol. In some embodiments, the insert may include a filter at least partly saturated with a second vaporizable material and configured to generate a vapor when heated by the heating element, thereby forming a mixture of inhalable aerosol. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also described.

Abstract: A vaporizer device includes a housing including an air inlet, a heating element within the housing and a heat exchanger. The heating element includes a nonlinear positive temperature coefficient of resistance material. The heat exchanger is thermally coupled to the heating element and arranged to receive airflow from the air inlet. The heat exchanger is configured to transfer heat between the heating element and the airflow to produce a heated airflow. The heated airflow exiting the heat exchanger is configured to vaporize a vaporizable material. Related apparatus, systems, techniques and articles are also described.

Abstract: Various embodiments of a system for generating an inhalable aerosol are described. The system can include a vaporizable material insert configured to be inserted into a compartment of a vaporizer body of a vaporizer device. In some embodiments, the insert includes a housing defining an inner chamber having a first compartment that contains a vaporizable material and a second compartment defining an insert airflow pathway. The insert airflow pathway can be positioned upstream from a device airflow pathway of the vaporizer body, and the inhalable aerosol can be formed in the insert airflow pathway. As such, the inhalable aerosol can be prevented from contacting and contaminating the vaporizer body during use. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also described.
