[SOLUTIONS] Provided is an automatic transmission, including: a torque converter that is disposed downstream of a drive source in a power transmission path and is provided with a lockup clutch; and a transmission mechanism that is disposed downstream of the torque converter and changes a speed ratio between an input shaft and an output shaft, in which in a state where the lockup clutch is engaged, when a rotation speed of the input shaft reaches a first rotation speed, the automatic transmission starts upshift, and in a state where the lockup clutch is disengaged or slips, when the rotation speed of the input shaft reaches a second rotation speed obtained by subtracting a first predetermined rotation speed from the first rotation speed, the automatic transmission starts upshift, and the first predetermined rotation speed decreases as an output torque of the drive source increases.-

摘要: A control device and method controls a vehicle having an internal combustion engine connected to an automatic transmission via a torque converter with a lockup device. The torque of the internal combustion engine is limited the by a torque limit value based on a speed difference between an input rotational speed and an output rotational speed of the torque converter during acceleration in a non-lockup state. The torque-limiting of the internal combustion engine is prohibited torque-limiting upon a prescribed condition being met. The prescribed condition is met by a heating request, during hill climbing/towing, during travel at high vehicle speeds, when the accelerator pedal opening angle exceeds or is equal to a prescribed opening angle, when the torque limit value is greater than a target torque, in a range other than a D range, or in a mode other than normal mode.

摘要: A lockup disengagement control device for an automatic transmission including a torque converter including a lockup clutch, and a lockup control section, the lockup disengagement control device includes: when a brake is operated from a brake OFF to a brake ON during a coast traveling in an engagement state of the lockup clutch, the lockup control section being configured to sense an initial deceleration by the brake ON operation, and to set a lockup release vehicle speed to be higher as an absolute value of the initial deceleration is greater, and when a vehicle speed is sensed to be equal to or smaller than the set lockup release vehicle speed in a middle of a brake deceleration scene by the brake ON operation, the lockup control section being configured to disengage the lockup clutch.
