摘要： A steam reformer provided with a plurality of double-tube type reforming tubes fixed vertically and in gastight fashion on a tube sheet which divides a cylindrical vessel into the upper pressure vessel and the lower pressure-vessel, wherein a mixture of hydrocarbons and steam is introduced from the upper pressurevessel into the reforming tubes and the steam-reforming reaction is effected within the lower pressure-vessel by the use of a high-temperature and high-pressure helium gas as the heatsource.
