Abstract: An apparatus for driving fasteners including a cylinder, a driving piston arranged for driving a fastener from the apparatus into a substrate, the piston being arranged for reciprocating movement relative to the cylinder, a charge supply for feeding a charge to a combustion chamber of the cylinder where the charge is combusted to drive movement of the piston relative to the cylinder, a coil feed of fasteners, and a guidance system configured to guide the apparatus relative to the substrate, the guidance system including a positive placement system.
