摘要: A computer system processes electronic communications. A density and centrality of a group of users engaged in electronic communications is determined based on an analysis of a social network graph indicating connections of the users of the group. The electronic communications are analyzed and an affinity of the electronic communications to a constructive goal of a user of the group is determined based on a frequency of electronic communications pertaining to the constructive goal and the determined density and centrality. The electronic communications are modified to advance progress of the constructive goal in response to the affinity satisfying a threshold. Embodiments of the present invention further include a method and program product for processing electronic communications in substantially the same manner described above.

摘要: A computer-implemented method, a computer system and a computer program product evaluate multimedia quality. The method includes displaying a current frame of a video. The method also includes generating dataframes for the current frame and for a reference frame of the video. The method further includes comparing the dataframes for the reference and current frames. In addition, the method includes determining a quality metric of the current frame based on the comparison of the dataframes for the reference and current frames. Finally, the method includes modifying the current frame so that the quality metric is at or above the threshold in response to determining that the quality metric of the current frame is below a threshold.

摘要: In an approach to longevity management of social network data, a computer detects a posting of a social artifact by a first user of a social network. A computer stores the social artifact with associated identification information. A computer stores activity associated with the social artifact by one or more other users. A computer detects a status change in an account associated with the first user, wherein the status change indicates the first user is not active in the social network. In response to detecting the status change, a computer determines a second user from the one or more other users to which to transfer the social artifact based on the social artifact, the associated identification information, and the activity associated with the social artifact by the one or more other users. A computer transfers the social artifact to an account associated with the second user on the social network.

摘要: Structured conversation enhancement can include determining an anticipated ebb point of a current conversation. The determination can be made in response to a predetermined triggering event indicating a start of the current conversation. Structured conversation enhancement also can include monitoring the current conversation using pattern recognition. A probable change in the anticipated ebb point can be determined in response to recognizing a predetermined word pattern indicating a change in the conversation. A response action can be initiated in response to the probable change in the anticipated ebb point.

摘要: A mechanism is provided in a data processing system comprising at least one processor and at least one memory, the at least one memory comprising instructions which are executed by the at least one processor and configure the processor to implement a document processing system. A spell check confidence component executing within the document processing system records a mapping of misspelled words to corrected words for set of documents. The spell check confidence component generates an error-to-correction frequency model based on the mapping. A parser executing within the document processing system parses an input document to extract words in the error-to-correction frequency model. The spell check confidence component calculates a precision score for each word in the input document found in the error-to-correction frequency model. The precision score represents a probability that the extracted word is spelled correctly as intended in the input document. The document processing system generates a precision model for the input document based on the precision scores. The document processing system performs a natural language processing operation on the input document based on the confidence model.
