摘要: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may establish a multi-access (MA) protocol data unit (PDU) in accordance with the examples described herein. The WTRU may establish a new packet data network (PDN) connection or identify a suitable existing PDN connection in an evolved packet core (EPC), establish a MA-PDU in a 5G core network (5GC), and associate the existing PDN with the MA-PDU. The WTRU may already have a MA-PDU session established in 5GC with both 3GPP access leg and non-3GPP access leg in 5GC, and the WTRU may replace the 3GPP access leg in 5GC with a suitable PDN connection in EPC. The WTRU may send a request for establishing a single-access PDU session in 5GC via non-3GPP access, and a 5GC network may upgrade a PDU session established for the WTRU to a MA-PDU with 3GPP access leg in EPC.

摘要: A method and apparatus to address changes in quality of service in a communication link between two user equipment devices includes establishing the communication link between a first user equipment device and a peer user equipment device, where the communication link services an application executing on the first user equipment. The first user equipment device monitors a current quality of service on the communication link and detects a condition wherein the current quality of service may not be met. Adjusted configuration parameters for the application and new quality of service parameters for the communication link are determined. The adjusted configuration parameters are applied to the application and the new quality of service parameters are applied to the communication link.

摘要: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities may be provided to discover a personal Internet of Things (IoT) network (PIN). A discovery policy configuration information associated with a PIN may be determined. The discovery policy configuration information may comprise a PIN identification (ID) and may indicate that discovery for the PIN may be enabled. A first message may be sent to a second WTRU if discovery for the PIN is enabled. The first message may be based on the discovery policy configuration information and may indicate the PIN ID. A second message may be received from the second WTRU. The second message may indicate the PIN ID and may indicate a request for information associated with the PIN. A third message may be sent to the second WTRU. The third message may indicate the PIN ID and may indicate the requested information that may be associated with the PIN.

摘要: A WTRU may initiate access for a PDU session over multiple access networks. The WTRU may register with two or more access networks. For example, the WTRU may register with a 3GPP access network (e.g., LTE Advanced) and a non-3GPP access network (e.g., Wi-Fi). The WTRU may determine to request a multi-access PDU session for a (e.g., at least one) PDU session. A multi-access PDU session may correspond to a PDU session where the WTRU communicates one or more PDUs associated with the PDU session over the 3GPP access network and one or more PDUs associated with the PDU session over the non-3GPP access network. The WTRU may receive a confirmation message indicating that a multi-access PDU session has been established. The WTRU may send uplink data over the 3GPP access network and the non-3GPP access network, e.g., in accordance with the established multi-access PDU session.

The device may use the temporary credentials to register with the onboarding network.

The request message may comprise a requested sensing mechanism and a quality of service (QoS) requirement. The coordination information may be associated with one or more base stations and/or one or more wireless transmit receive units (WTRUs) to be used for performing a sensing operation. The processor and memory of the SOMF may be configured to send a sensing request message to the one or more base stations and/or the one or more WTRU. The sensing request message may comprise a sensing area for the WTRU or base station information when the sensing request message is sent to the one or more WTRUs.

摘要: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may establish one or more protocol data unit (PDU) sessions via a radio access network (RAN) node. The WTRU may transition to an inactive state. The WTRU may send a connection resume message to a RAN node that indicates a request to resume the established plurality of PDU sessions via the RAN node. The WTRU may receive a message from the RAN node. For example, the RAN node may send a message indicating a subset of the plurality of PDU sessions that are available upon resuming a connection with the RAN node. The WTRU may deactivate at least one established PDU session of the plurality of PDU sessions based on the received message from the RAN node that indicates at least one established PDU session not being included in the subset of the plurality of PDU sessions that are available.
