Abstract: A food processing machine includes a head extending over a bowl receiving location, the head including an output shaft driven in a planetary manner. At least a first food processing tool and a second food processing tool can be changed in and out of the machine to be driven by the output shaft. A controller and associated tool detection system is configured to identify whether the first food processing tool or the second food processing tool is mounted on the machine and to select a stored load profile that is linked to the identified food processing tool.

Abstract: A mixing machine includes a mixer body, a head extending from the mixer body and including a rotatable output member for receiving a mixer tool and a bowl support mounted to the mixer body and positioned below the head. A slideway system is configured to enable vertical movement of the bowl support along the mixer body between a lowered position away from the head and a raised position toward the head. The slideway system includes a first metal surface, a second metal surface opposed to and facing the first metal surface, wherein a relative sliding movement between the first metal surface and the second metal surface occurs during vertical movement of the bowl support, and an ultra-high-molecular-weight plastic insert disposed between the first metal surface and the second metal surface to limit friction during the relative sliding movement.

Abstract: A food mixing machine includes a head extending over a bowl receiving location, the head including an output shaft driven in a planetary manner and configured to receive a mixing tool, and a sensor system configured for detecting (i) a bowl identifier of a radio frequency identification component carried by a bowl mounted at the bowl receiving location and (ii) a mixing tool identifier of a radio frequency identification component carried by a mixing tool connected to the output shaft. Control actions based upon the detected bowl identifier and the detected mixing tool identifier are then carried out.
