摘要: Methods, apparatuses, systems, devices, and computer program products directed to unique word (UW) discrete Fourier transform (DFT) spread and shaped orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) (“UW DFT-S-S-OFDM”) based communications are provided. Among new methodologies and/or technologies provided is a method implemented in transmitter and includes any of: transforming a set of data symbols and a UW sequence into a frequency domain (“fDOM”) signal using a DFT; replicating the fDOM signal so as to form a plurality of fDOM signal instances, wherein the plurality of fDOM signal instances is inclusive of the fDOM signal; shaping one or more of the plurality of fDOM signal instances; combining the plurality of fDOM signal instances to form a combined fDOM signal; transforming the combined fDOM signal into a block-based signal using an inverse DFT (IDFT); and outputting the block-based signal.

摘要: Systems, devices, and methods for operating in an unlicensed band are disclosed herein. In one example, a device may receive configuration information that includes a maximum channel occupancy time (MCOT) and a plurality of parameters including a plurality of transmission opportunity windows (TOWs). Based on the configuration information, the device may split a transmission into a plurality of bursts that may be grouped into sets of bursts based on how many bursts fit within a TOW. The number of bursts in a set of bursts may be less than or equal to the MCOT. The device may perform a clear channel assessment (CCA) to determine if the channel is busy and to determine a start time within the TOW for the bursts. The device may then transmit the set of bursts for that TOW, where each burst may have a burst indicator (BI).

Techniques to identify candidate control channel beams and/or their location in the subframe structure may provide for efficient WTRU operation. A framework for beam formed control channel design may support varying capabilities of mBs and/or WTRUs, and/or may support time and/or spatial domain multiplexing of control channel beams. For a multi-beam system, modifications to reference signal design may discover, identify, measure, and/or decode a control channel beam. Techniques may mitigate inter-beam interference. WTRU monitoring may consider beam search space, perhaps in addition to time and/or frequency search space. Enhancements to downlink control channel may support scheduling narrow data beams. Scheduling techniques may achieve high resource utilization, e.g., perhaps when large bandwidths are available and/or WTRUs may be spatially distributed.

摘要: Methods and systems for operation in a wireless network are provided, the methods including receiving modulated data symbols and zeros in a frequency-domain, and mapping in the frequency-domain the modulated data symbols and zeros in an interleaved manner to sub-carriers within a resource allocation. The methods and systems further include generating a time-domain data signal based on the mapped sub-carriers, and generating a time domain cancellation signal by sign inverting and repeating a predetermined number of time-domain samples at a tail portion of the data signal. The methods and systems further include combining the time-domain data signal and the time domain cancellation signal to generate an exact zero tail data signal such that the exact zero tail data signal has a zero tail length equal to the predetermined number of time-domain samples, and transmitting the exact zero tail data signal.

摘要: Methods, apparatuses and systems are provided for grant-less (GL) uplink transmissions. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a configuration of a set of GL Physical Uplink Shared Channel (GL-PUSCH) frequency resources. The WTRU may monitor for a downlink control information (DCI) message, wherein the DCI message includes an indication of a presence of at least a subset of the set of GL-PUSCH frequency resources. If the WTRU successfully receives the DCI message, the WTRU may select one or more GL-PUSCH frequency resources from the subset of the set of GL-PUSCH frequency resources and may select a time period. The WTRU may transmit data on a GL-PUSCH using the selected GL-PUSCH frequency resources during the selected time period. The WTRU may also monitor for hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) based on the selected GL-PUSCH frequency resources. The WTRU may monitor for the DCI during a fixed time window.

摘要: Methods, devices and systems are provided for performing a random access (RA) procedure. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may be configured to receive RA resource sets, where each of the RA resource sets is associated with a node-B directional beam, select an RA resource set from among the RA resource sets, and initiate an RA procedure based on the selected RA resource set. The RA procedure may include selecting multiple preambles which include a preamble for each resource of a plurality of resources corresponding to the selected RA resource set. The WTRU may be configured to sequentially transmit the selected multiple preambles in sequential RA transmissions, and may be configured to receive, from a node-B, in response to the RA transmissions, at least one RA response (RAR), where each of the received at least one RAR corresponds to one of the transmitted multiple preambles.

摘要: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed for phase noise reference signal (PNRS) transmission, comprising receiving, at a wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU), scheduling information for a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) transmission, wherein the scheduling information includes an indication of a set of physical resource blocks (PRBs) and a modulation coding scheme (MCS) level, determining a density for the PNRS transmission based on at least one of: the MCS level, a frequency band for the PUSCH transmission, or a subcarrier spacing of the PUSCH transmission, and transmitting the PUSCH in the scheduled set of PRBs using the determined density of PNRS.
