Abstract: A motor assembly to minimize deformation of a vibration-proof member and to achieve stable motor mounting configuration, as well as an image forming apparatus employing the motor assembly, are disclosed. The motor assembly includes a motor, a fixing member to which the motor is fixed, a vibration-proof member provided between the motor and the fixing member to prevent vibration of the motor from being transmitted to the fixing member, and a reinforcing piece having a predetermined strength to prevent relative movement between the motor and the fixing member.
