Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and apparatus for keeping orders among messages when transmitting and receiving messages within a Converged IP Messaging (CPM) session. A message transmission and reception method in a network comprises receiving a message including sequential identification information and a cumulative size, and outputting the received message, wherein the sequential identification information is an identifier allowing identification of orders managed within a session, transmission and reception being performed in the session, and the cumulative size is the sum of sizes of messages, the messages being sent by a subject having sent the received message within the session, wherein the output order of the received message is decided based upon the sequential identification information and sequential identification information relating to messages received prior to the received message.

Abstract:
All the messages (even a session invitation message transmitted to establish a session for conversation) transmitted for conversion are stored by using a conversation ID and a contribution ID. Thus, a user A and a user B can read the stored conversation history any time through a certain terminal by using the conversation ID, the contribution ID, and the information regarding the object.
Abstract:
A method is described for transferring a converged IP messaging (CPM) service based message using a server. The server transmits one or more messages via a one-to-one session established between a first terminal of a first user and a second terminal of a second user. The server receives a first session initiation protocol (SIP) invite message for extending the one-to-one session to a group session from the first terminal of the first user. The server extracts and locally stores various headers and IDs from the received first SIP invite message, and at least part of session description protocol (SDP) attributes with media streams from the received first SIP invite message if the first SIP invite message includes SDP content describing the media streams. The server transmits a second SIP invite message to the second terminal of the second user, and receives a termination message for terminating the one-to-one session.
